Aircraft Restoration & Rebuild
Restoration and rebuild work is another area Hangar 25 Aviation specialise in. From component or sub structure work to full restoration and everything in between every type of job can be catered for.
The Hangar 25 Aviation team understand no restoration or rebuild is the same and services are fully bespoke to each aircrafts requirements. This can be an aircraft finished to a customers desired finish or historically accurate finishes.
Aircraft types worked on include 1930's biplanes right up to recommissioning and major repair work on more modern aircraft.
The team have experience in insurance repair work for those customers requiring post accident repair.
The Hangar 25 team are able to carry out almost all work in house as well as accumulation of parts from other specialist companies and project management of the final assembly work.
A paint finish service is available working closely with a 3rd party specialist.
Fabric
Working with all major fabric covering types including Ceconite & Poly-fiber. Hangar 25 Aviation stock many of these system materials enabling a fast turn around repair service.
Types of work carried out include minor repair, individual component recovering to full aircraft recover work on both Certified aircraft under CAA Part-ML and those operating on an LAA permit to fly as well as having ability to carry out work on aircraft operating under other regulatory systems and in some cases under other nations aviation authorities.
Hangar 25 Aviation are able to provide a paint finish service through a third party supplier enabling a full end to end service including re-weigh and sign off in-house.
